Mary Elizabeth "Sissy" Spacek (born December 25, 1949 in Quitman, Texas) is an Academy Award winning American actress and singer. She was natural to Edwin Arnold Spacek & Virginia Spilman. Her agnatic grandad, Arnold The. Spacek, was the boy of a Moravian father, Frank J. Spacek, & the German mother, Julie Gloekner (both of whom got immigrated to Texas). Her agnate grandma, Mary Cervenka, was of Czech descent. Spacek's mother is of English descent.
Spacek began call at the amusement business thanks to her full cousin, Rip Torn, who was already an actor. Across him, she was respire to enroll within Lee Strasberg's Actors Studio and then the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.
